An Interview with Diana on Esther

Diana blog post image.jpg

Today's interview feature comes from the lovely Diana of just-a-christiangirl.tumblr.com, where she "praises God in two languages: [Spanish] and English". Read on as she explains why Esther is her favourite woman of the Bible and what we, as modern women, can learn from her.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE WOMAN OF THE BIBLE AND WHY? WHAT WOULD YOU SAY THAT MODERN WOMEN CAN LEARN FROM HER?

My favourite woman of the Bible is Esther. Through her story and the things that she did, she shows me that no matter the circumstances we always have to obey God in everything -even unto death- but in the end He is always in control and His will is amazing (Esther 2:12-16).

PLEASE FINISH THE SENTENCE: I AM A CHRISTIAN WOMAN WHO IS…

I am a Christian woman who is a sinner, after all, the only thing that makes me love and respect my God is to know that He has saved me and rescued me from living in a world as empty as its now. I don’t want to know how my life would be without God; it wouldn’t matter at all because He is my all now.

PLEASE FINISH THE SENTENCE: I AM A CHRISTIAN WOMAN WHO IS NOT…

I am a Christian woman who is not judgemental- I accept all the things in this life but that doesn’t mean that I approve of them. I’m not a fanatic; I respect the point of view of others like I want them to respect mine.

ANY FINAL WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT?

I just want people to know that God is amazing- He has inspired me to be a better woman; a better person. He completes me and He has covered me with His amazing grace.

God is so wonderful and I would like people to know that it’s not just something you can say- "oh, I don’t have time to be a Christian". To be a Christian is to live by the rules of someone who loved you since the beginning; to be in the hands of the creator of everything and to live in confidence that you will never be alone again.
