Today's interview comes from Kishma- another great friend of mine! This beautiful lady, aside from being "my literal laughing partner," is someone who continues to inspire me with her work ethic as a teacher in addition to the way she handles being a wife and mother. Hear her perspective on Rahab (her favourite woman of the Bible), how she reflects her personal testimony of salvation and what we can garner from these below:
Who is your favourite woman of the Bible and why? What would you say that modern women can learn from her?
My favourite woman of the Bible is Rahab. Like Rahab I came from a non-Christian background and a very non-Christian lifestyle. Rahab came to God at a desperate time in her life and I was an 18 year old pregnant girl when I came to the Lord. Just like Rahab, I was confused and afraid but I knew that I had to take that risk. Modern women can learn from Rahab that even if you come from “dirt” and feel society looks down upon you, like I did as a teenage mother, God can turn your future into one that brings greatness, healing and acceptance.
