Today we have an interview with Jessica Kate, writer of "Hating Jeremy Walters" and Jessicakatewriting.com- where she blogs about God and "gets real" with Him. Read on as she shares her stance on being able to learn from everybody and what Christian womanhood means to her.
Who is your favourite woman of the Bible and why? What would you say that modern women can learn from her?
To be completely honest, I’ve never had a favourite. I just read everyone’s stories, women and men, and try to learn from all of them. Though I always thought it was cool that the first people who saw Jesus after He resurrected were His female friends (Luke 23:55-56; Luke 24:1-12).

Please finish the sentence: I am a Christian woman who is...
I am a Christian woman who is loved by God. To me, that is the most important part of anyone’s identity, man or woman.
Please finish the sentence: I am a Christian woman who is not...
I am a Christian woman who is not forgotten, rejected or left out by God. He loves us and died for us, that’s the thing that makes me most secure.
Any final words of encouragement?
It doesn’t matter how anyone has treated you, or what’s happened; Jesus loved you so much He died for you. If the lies start pouring in, we have to hold them up against that truth. God loves us with a passionate love and wants to get to know us better.
